Plan packaging around your roasting workflow

For retail coffee, start with the pack weights, roast schedule and number of origins or blends. Compare valve bags with roll stock based on how your coffee is filled and sealed. Wholesale formats need space-efficient handling and reliable seals; retail bags also need a clear front panel and room for variable roast information. Ask for samples to check fill volume and valve clearance. Share your reorder frequency so the quote reflects your actual production needs.

FAQs

Coffee packaging FAQs

More answers on our FAQ page, or call (647) 494-7229.

Do I need a valve on my coffee bags?

If you pack soon after roasting, yes. The one-way valve lets carbon dioxide out without letting oxygen in, so bags don’t bloat and coffee stays fresher.

Which coffee bag style is most popular?

Flat-bottom bags are a favourite for premium retail because they stand like a box. Quad seal bags suit larger and heavier bags, and stand-up pouches work well for smaller sizes.

Can I get sample-size coffee packs?

Yes. Lay flat pouches and small stand-up pouches make good sample and single-serve packs.

Can you print short runs?

Yes. Digital printing has no plate fees, so short runs and multiple designs are cost-effective.
